Part-Time Roll-Off Truck Driver

VPS Dumpster Rental is looking for a dependable, safety-minded Part-Time Roll-Off Truck Driver to join our growing, family-owned team. This position is scheduled for Fridays, Saturdays, and Mondays and is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, working outdoors, and taking pride in providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate must be able to confidently operate a 6-speed manual transmission truck, have a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations and be insurable under our company insurance policy, and successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening. A CDL is not required, but the selected candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Card. Previous experience operating roll-off trucks is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right individual with a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely deliver, exchange, and retrieve roll-off dumpsters at residential, commercial, and construction sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Properly secure loads and comply with all DOT and company safety regulations.
• Navigate tight job sites and operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized truck and report maintenance concerns promptly.
• Assist with basic yard duties, equipment organization, and general shop tasks as needed.
• Represent VPS Dumpster Rental with professionalism and provide outstanding customer service on every job.
